Such a cute spot! I got the steak and eggs and the steak was perfectly cooked (medium rare, the only way to get a steak).
Fresh squeezed juices are amazing :) I got the MALIBU - it has a lot of tropical sweet flavors, although I forgot what specific fruits. I guess you gotta stop in and try it for yourself -

If you're looking for a stylish, hipster, millennial cafe then Babe's Kitchen is NOT your jam. Babe's Kitchen is an old school, with bad parking and only 1 restroom type of diner that is one of LBC's gems. This place is old and kinda run down and I hope that they never change because the food will never be the same.
The Chorizo Scrambled Eggs and potato's are excellent. I also love the Chilaquiles, but be careful of the red chili version because the heat will sneak up on you.
Decent service. Great food. Coffee could use some help. -

My partner and I originally wanted to go to a different breakfast spot but they were closed so we used yelp to find another place. Because of the reviews, we came to Babe's.
By the time we got there, they were out of a lot of food. My partner got the chilaquiles and I got a scramble. We also ordered the green juice and I asked for their homemade bread. There were only two people working, so things took awhile to come. They barely checked in on us. Often times we had to get up to ask for stuff like water or napkins. We were patient, but the place was pretty empty so it was frustrating.
Food-
Super basic. My scramble barely had any flavor and the chilaquiles weren't anything crazy. The bread was good, but to me, bread is bread. The jam was also good, but again, jam is jam to me. The one thing I would go back for are the green juices. Now that was amazing! Tasted super fresh and they actually had good flavor. I also know they use real fruit and vegetables because I almost drank one of the plastic labels that are usually on fruit.
I was wondering why their reviews were so high.. I looked at the menu again and noticed that they offer a discount for good reviews. I like to review honestly so the discount wasn't worth a fake review. -

Got the Malibu. Very delicious. Made me forgot about my troubles. I'll definitely be coming back

Very hole in the wall style restaurant which only makes the place better. The staff are very nice, but the wait time for getting your food was a little long hence 4 stars. When you get your food you understand why the wait was prolonged. The menu is simple and the drinks are limited which means anything you get is gonna be really good.
